What service is offered under the Home Care program?
In-home caregivers provide help with a wide variety of non-medical related activities of daily living, which include showering, bathing, and dressing, meal preparation, transportation, using the toilet, companionship, recreation, medication reminders, fall prevention and much more.
Home Care, powered by AUAF, cares you can trust. Our caregivers go through a tri-annual training, which prepares them to offer the best care and support to help you, or your loved one, live independently.
Home Care Services Include:
- Assisting with personal hygiene, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals, assistance with eating meals, and washing plates
- Medication reminders
- Escort services and support at doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and errands
- Light housekeeping: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and more
- Sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms
- Laundry care including washing, ironing, and changing bed linens
- Companionship and social interaction
- Recreational and physical activities such as taking walks
- Organizing closets/drawers
- Sorting bills and assistance with paying, etc.
