Launch of “Cuidar es Amar – The Podcast”: Giving Voice to Real Stories of Care
On June 10, 2026, Home Care Powered by AUAF officially launched “Cuidar es Amar – The Podcast”, a heartfelt new digital platform dedicated to sharing real stories of caregiving for older adults. The first episode is now available on all major podcast streaming platforms.
This podcast was created with a clear and meaningful purpose: to give space to authentic stories about what it truly means to care for older adults today. Through personal testimonies, Cuidar es Amar aims to highlight the emotional, human side of caregiving while also educating the community about the Illinois Community Care Program and the resources available to families and caregivers across the state.
A Launch Event Rooted in Community and Connection
To celebrate the launch, Home Care Powered by AUAF hosted a special event at the Davis Theater in Chicago, bringing together key members of the Hispanic community, media professionals, public figures, and organizational partners.
The evening began with a warm reception, where guests had the opportunity to connect, network, and share meaningful conversations in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. This was followed by a unique podcast experience, where the event host engaged in live conversations with selected guests about what “Cuidar es Amar” means to them personally and within their communities.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was the screening of the first podcast episode inside one of the theater’s screening rooms, allowing attendees to experience the story in a powerful and immersive way.
The event concluded with closing remarks from the podcast creators, who expressed gratitude to the guests, partners, and community members who made the launch possible, and who continue to inspire the mission behind this project.

Through this initiative, Home Care Powered by AUAF reaffirms its commitment to supporting older adults and caregivers, strengthening community awareness, and promoting access to the Illinois Community Care Program.
